Early Childhood Educator - Diploma
Location: Riverside Preschool, Henley
Start Date: commencing 20th July 2026 (Term 3)
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8/9:00am – 4:00pm (full- time)
Riverside Preschool is a not-for-profit community-based preschool operating during NSW school terms. We offer above-award conditions, including paid non-term time (1 day attendance during non-term time) and generous non-contact programming hours.
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality early childhood education.
Candidates must have 2-5 years of early childhood teaching experience.
Essential Criteria:
- Diploma in early childhood education (ACECQA approved)
- NESA Accreditation
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Child Protection Qualification
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and document children's learning effectively via digital platform
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
- National police check
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in delivering inclusive early childhood programs
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage positively with children, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in online documentation of children's learning
- In-depth knowledge of EYLF and NQF standards
