Janison Exam Management is seeking reliable, professional and detail-oriented individuals to join our casual Exam Invigilator team in Melbourne, Victoria, for an upcoming examination project running in November 2026.
This is a casual, project-based opportunity offering flexible shifts, paid training and the opportunity to gain experience supporting large-scale examination and assessment programs. Successful applicants may also be considered for future examination projects, subject to project requirements, suitability and availability.
About the Role: As an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure examinations are delivered smoothly, securely and in accordance with established procedures. Key responsibilities may include:

Preparing examination rooms and equipment

Checking candidate identification

Distributing and collecting examination materials

Monitoring candidates throughout examinations

Following examination procedures and security requirements

Identifying and reporting incidents or issues

Supporting the smooth operation of examinations from start to finish
Project Details: Location: Melbourne, VIC. Project dates: November 2026. Session times may include:

Morning – from approximately 7:00am

Afternoon – from approximately 11:00am

Evening – from approximately 3:00pm
Shifts are generally a minimum of 3 hours, with additional hours available depending on project requirements and your availability.
Rate of Pay: From $33.93 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates and loadings, including where applicable for weekends and public holidays.
Future Opportunities: While this specific project runs throughout November, at Janison we always keep successful applicants on our books and will notify you of other casual invigilation opportunities in Melbourne. Other busy periods in Melbourne typically include June (our standout peak), February, October and August!
Training & Support: Paid, project-specific training will be provided before you commence examination duties. You will also receive support from the Janison Exam Management team throughout the project.

Previous examination or invigilation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
