Job Description
Our Homecare team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team on a casual, part-time, or full-time basis.
You will with within our multi-disciplinary community allied health team, providing remedial massage to clients in their own home. You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working mostly with older adults and adults living with a disability.
In this role you will be...

Assess musculoskeletal concerns and agree on treatment goals with your clients

Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and linked to client goals

Deliver remedial massage that aligns with treatment goals

Support mobility, comfort and participation in daily activities.

Provide services in clients' homes in a safe and professional manner.

Educate clients on self-management, posture, movement and wellbeing strategies

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.

Collaborate with Care Managers, Physiotherapists, OTs and other health professionals

Deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life

Recognise red flags and refer to appropriate health professionals when required.

Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy

Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application

Fully insured vehicle

CPR certification
-
Willing to have an annual flu vaccination
