Work Placement Liason Officer – Certificate III and IV in Allied Health Assistance
Health Science Hub (RTO 52806) is looking for a new team member who is interested in working in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector.
Essential Requirements: We can only consider applicants with:
- An undergraduate degree in Allied Health (example: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, etc.)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in healthcare.
About the Role: In this role, you’ll travel to multiple Allied Health placement sites each shift across the wider Perth metro area. You’ll check in with students while they’re on site completing their work placement hours, and liaise with workplace supervisors to make sure everything is running smoothly. You’ll also support students to stay on track with their assessment requirements and step in early if any issues arise.Our students are high school aged (16–18 years), so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with teenagers and can communicate with them in a calm, encouraging, professional way.Students on placement are completing:
- HLT33021 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
- HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
Fixed term contract duration:
Start date: 21/07/2026
End date: 25/09/2026
Hours per week: 15
Working days: Thursday and Friday (with the occasional need for a Tuesday and Wednesday)
Qualifications: It would be advantageous for applicants to hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) however this qualification is not required for this role.
Must have:
- Australian drivers licence, valid and not expired
- Access to an appropriate, roadworthy and registered vehicle.

- Review work placement logbooks and confirm reasonable completion
- Be genuinely interested in and capable of working with 16 to 18-year-old students
- Work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
- Communicate professionally through online group chats and digital platforms
- Manage change positively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new skills
Be capable and confident using technology:
- Learning Management System (LMS) – Axelerate
- Internal communication platforms: email, Google Chat
- Tablets, laptops

- Bachelor Degree (Required)
Experience:
