Details: Join Digital Canberra’s Radio Network Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the ACT Government’s radio communications infrastructure. As a Senior Radio Systems Engineer, you’ll provide advice on planning, architecture, standards, and management of mission-critical radio networks supporting the Emergency Services Agency and other ACT Government users. This position combines technical leadership with strategic influence and team management —overseeing network performance, spectrum and encryption management, interoperability, and vendor engagement. Ideal candidates will bring knowledge of P25 trunked radio systems, frequency planning, and emergency services communications, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- A related tertiary qualification in Radio or Electrical Engineering / ICT will be highly regarded.

A current AGSVA issued NV1 security clearance is required for this position, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Driver’s license Class C is essential.

This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
