The opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to help build the editorial engine behind one of Australia’s most trusted trade brands.
As our Editorial Specialist, you’ll take ownership of the content rhythm that powers our digital channels—shaping how ideas become sharp, useful and high-performing content for our trade and consumer customers.
Sitting in our digital marketing team, you’ll bring strategy, structure and pace to the way content is planned, produced, published and improved—partnering with channel leads, creators and stakeholders to deliver work that is audience-led, on-brand and commercially effective.
What you’ll do
You’ll be the person who keeps great content moving—from idea to impact. You’ll:
- Own the editorial rhythm from idea through to publication, optimisation and performance
- Turn data and insights into smarter content decisions and continuous improvement
- Create and guide high-quality, on-brand, SEO-led content that drives real commercial impact
- Lift editorial standards across the business through strong governance, quality control and clear ways of working
- Bring teams together to deliver connected, audience-led content at scale
- Help shape a more organised content ecosystem across taxonomy, tagging, structure and CMS readiness
- Have the opportunity to bring content to life by authoring directly within our new CMS
About You
You’re an editorial thinker with an operator’s mindset—someone who can bring clarity to complexity, keep work moving and raise the bar on content quality.
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Experience across editorial, content operations, digital marketing or publishing
- Confidence managing workflows, standards, stakeholders and moving parts
- A strong understanding of SEO, CMS platforms and digital publishing best practice
- Great communication skills and the ability to influence, organise and bring people on the journey
- A background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
