If you’re looking to make a difference in your own backyard, this career is for you.
You know that to make a meaningful contribution there needs to be connection and collaboration across the teams. Here’s your opportunity to help our people make a big impact.
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering procurement expertise, strategic sourcing, category planning and end to end procurement leadership to meet organisational and customer objectives across a complex, high value portfolio.
This role will see you add purpose through managing procurement related projects, developing strategies, overseeing governance, analysing markets and innovation trends, and ensuring value for money outcomes.
You will lead, navigate and build improved service delivery, efficiencies and compliant procurement practices, in a commercially sensitive, time pressured and stakeholder diverse environment where policy, markets and organisational needs evolve rapidly.

About you
Your strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, communication skills and stakeholder management expertise—formed across government procurement, category management, commercial environments or large complex organisations—will see you excel in leading sourcing activities, providing expert advice, resolving complex issues and overcoming challenges such as diverse stakeholder expectations and the need for best practice compliance in a rapidly changing procurement environment.
You will bring the strategic thinking, problem solving discipline and governance mindset required to lead to effective procurement strategies, improved supplier arrangements, robust risk management and strong project outcomes.
You're recognised as ethical and influential, skilled at negotiating, advising, analysing markets, and designing procurement strategies, and experienced in delivering complex procurement, managing category portfolios, navigating NSW Government procurement frameworks, and driving performance across multi stakeholder environments.
