This opportunity sits within iOrthotics, one of Healthia’s innovative businesses specialising in custom orthotic manufacturing and technology solutions for allied health professionals across Australia. Based in Windsor, iOrthotics combines healthcare, manufacturing, and technology to deliver industry-leading patient solutions.
You will move rapidly and utilise all development techniques that you have mastered to switch between front and back-end development, based on the requirements.
Sounds great, but what exactly do I need to apply?
Language & System Skills
- Must be proficient in PHP 7, HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, C#, GitHub.
- Sound database skills in MySQL.
- Preferred knowledge of Laravel framework, otherwise similar MVC-style web applications.
- Ability to work within a large source code repository.
Programming Skills
- High quality code based on continuous refactoring, loosely coupled architecture, “SOLID” principles and a consistent code style etc.
- Ability to write unit tests and work in a test-driven development environment.
- Preferable knowledge of secure coding practices such as hashing, authentication and data privacy.
Not required, but highly advantageous skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Front end user interface design and usability
- Great communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Problem solving ability for complex and diverse issues
