Abodex is a growing exterior cleaning business based on the Mornington Peninsula, specialising in window, gutter and pressure cleaning for residential and commercial clients. We're building a reputation for quality and reliability across the southern Peninsula, and we're expanding our team to keep up with demand. We're a close local crew that takes genuine pride in the standard of our work.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Team Leader to run our cleaning crews on the ground — a hands-on leader who sets the pace on site and lifts the standard of everyone around them. This is a player-coach role: you'll be on the tools alongside the team while taking ownership of quality, safety and getting the day done well.
We're hiring this role casual to begin with so we can both find our feet, with a clear path to permanent employment for the right person — we're genuinely looking for someone to grow with the business, not just fill a gap.
Day to day, you'll:
- Lead and coordinate a small crew across daily jobs on the Peninsula
- Set and uphold the Abodex quality standard — and train technicians to meet it
- Run on-site quality checks and make sure every job is finished right
- Keep work safe — heights, ladders, equipment and chemical handling done properly
- Be a key point of contact on site and represent Abodex professionally with clients
- Work closely with our Operations Manager on scheduling and job flow
About You
- Proven experience in window/exterior cleaning, trades, or a similar hands-on field
- Previous team leadership or crew supervision experience — or you're a strong operator clearly ready to step up
- A current driver's licence (essential)
- Confident working at heights and on ladders
- Strong on quality and detail — you notice the things others miss
- Reliable, organised and able to keep a team on track and on time
- Presentable and professional — you'll be the face of Abodex on site

- $38–$45 per hour (depending on experience) plus super
