Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retirement Product, you'll work across the Retirement Value Stream and broader business to deliver strategic product initiatives that support Aware Super's retirement ambitions. You'll collaborate with Product Owners, delivery squads and key stakeholders to define priorities, manage product backlogs and deliver outstanding member outcomes.
Some key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the delivery and execution of retirement product initiatives aligned to Aware Super's Retirement Income Strategy
- Partner with value streams, delivery squads and stakeholders to identify opportunities, define solutions and deliver product enhancements
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs, sprint plans and delivery roadmaps
- Use member insights, market intelligence and data-driven decision making to shape product outcomes
- Measure and evaluate the success and return on investment of product initiatives
- Ensure retirement products remain competitive, compliant and aligned to evolving member needs
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across retirement propositions and member experiences.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in product management, product ownership or product development within financial services
- Deep knowledge of the superannuation, retirement, wealth management or investment industries
- Experience designing, developing or implementing retirement products, services or propositions
- Strong understanding of retirement legislation, product governance and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to lead initiatives through ambiguity and deliver outcomes in complex environments
- Experience working within agile delivery frameworks, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
- Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and commercial acumen
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Management or a related discipline
