Where you’ll be working:
This administration role forms part of the Integrated Booking Unit team at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital where you will be booking patients for their surgery and that every patient is treated in turn. We are treating patients within their allocated clinical timeframes and ensure that patients have timely and effective communication about their planned surgery and that you work collaboratively with your colleagues and treating medical officers.
What you’ll be doing: The Administration Officer is a ward/unit-based role to support the work activities of the Integrated Booking Unit, providing timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the health care team under the direction of the Waitlist and Bookings Coordinator. The Administration Officer works closely with existing administrative staff at the ward/unit level. The role complements existing roles, systems and processes within the facility.
