About the Position
We are excited to welcome two Family Support Practitioners to our Toowoomba Intensive Family Support team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work comprehensively with families as a whole and with individual family members to overcome the challenges they are experiencing and achieve meaningful change. In this role, you will utilise evidence informed therapeutic interventions and be contributing directly to the improved wellbeing of children and families
- Level 4 SCHCADS Award.
- Salary range: $88,100 - $94,792 + Superannuation.
- Full-time, Government funded contract until 31 December 2027 with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with families over several months to a year in supporting them to achieve positive changes for their family.
- Draw on various evidence-informed therapeutic interventions and frameworks responsive to the needs of individual family members.
- Deliver an outreach model of complex case management to families in their home environment.
- Facilitate social learning, community connectedness, good health and wellbeing for vulnerable families.

About You
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (allied health, social work, human services) with professional registration (if required) and, a membership in a professional association (desirable).
- Demonstrate at least two (2) years’ experience providing case-management and therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people and children in a child protection framework.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
- Current driver’s licence.
