What you'll be doing
As the Recover at Work Coordinator, you will deliver specialist workplace rehabilitation and injury management services for employees with work-related injuries. Using a proactive and person-centred case management approach, you will coordinate recovery at work strategies, facilitate return to work outcomes and ensure compliance with workers compensation legislation and organisational requirements.
Manage a portfolio of workers compensation cases and develop tailored recovery at work plans
Coach, support and guide injured employees throughout their recovery journey
Partner with managers, treating practitioners, claims managers and key stakeholders to achieve sustainable return to work outcomes
Monitor, report and contribute to strategic injury management and workers compensation performance objectives
Identify opportunities to strengthen workplace rehabilitation practices, injury prevention initiatives and recovery outcomes

Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the principles and related guidelines of the NSW Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management Act 1998 and Amendments, WH&S Act and Regulation of 2011
Experience working in the workers compensation / injury management industry whereby your predominant tasks involved liaising with treatment providers, Insurance Case Managers, Managers and injured workers
Experience working directly for an employer in a recover at work capacity where you were required to identify suitable duties, develop recovery at work plans, facilitate and chair portfolio meetings and undertake relevant training as a subject matter expert
Proven experience in human-centred case management, strategic planning, program development, high level advice and implementation of rehabilitation plans in a Risk Management Framework
