We supply fresh meat products to both individual customers and commercial clients, with a strong focus on product quality, reliable service, and efficient day-to-day operations. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a capable Retail Manager to oversee store operations and help maintain a high standard of customer service and team performance.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with experience in retail operations, customer service, and team coordination. The successful candidate will play an important role in managing daily store activities, staff supervision, inventory control, and coordination between retail and wholesale operations.
The role requires someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment while managing customer expectations and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail store operations and ensure smooth business performance
- Manage staff rostering, supervision, and day-to-day workflow allocation
- Monitor sales performance, stock control, and inventory planning
- Monitor store performance and report operational or sales issues to management
- Coordinate stock ordering and maintain product availability for retail and wholesale operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace hygiene, and operational procedures
- Resolve customer issues and maintain high customer service standards
- Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and store performance
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of retail staff
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in retail management, customer service, or store operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise staff and coordinate day-to-day retail activities
- Experience working in fast-paced customer-facing environments
- Good organisational skills with attention to operational detail
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Mandarin and English communication skills are highly regarded due to the business customer base
Essential Criteria
- Diploma qualification or above in business, management, leadership, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in retail operations, team supervision, sales, or customer service environments
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach to work
- Understanding of workplace health, safety, and hygiene requirements

Pay: $80,743.08 – $89,323.61 per year
