We’re searching for a new part-timer to join our Riverside Breakfast team who can confidently deliver unforgettable experiences with a warm welcome, inspired recommendations, and seamless service. Ideally, you will have experience in a hotel environment, but anyone with experience in a breakfast service environment is encouraged to apply. This is a Part-Time role. Applicants must be able to commit to working at least 24 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours when required. Barista experience will be highly regarded.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flare
Taking guest orders and making recommendations as needed
Working closely with your restaurant colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food and beverage service
Preparing and serving a wide variety of hot, cold, artisan and specialty beverages
Set up and pack down the venue/outlet as required
Set up your work station – stock up on all the supplies you’ll need, manage your inventory and make sure all your equipment works
Working closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver a truly seamless food and beverage service
Minimizing waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents
Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly
What we need from you:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (SA/Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate
- A passional for providing hospitality with a smile.

Previous hotel experience in breakfast service is proffered but not required.
Barista skills and training are highly regarded
The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays, weekday availability is required
Be an Australian permanent resident or hold a valid Australian work visa with at least 6 months remaining at the time of application. This role requires a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, therefore applicants on Student Visas with restricted work rights are not eligible
