Tiling Estimator (with Strong Drafting Skills)
We are a growing joinery company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Melbourne. We are currently seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator who also has strong drafting capability to support project delivery.
About the Role
This role is primarily focused on estimating, with additional responsibility for preparing and reviewing shop drawings and set-outs when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Review architectural drawings and specifications
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs
- Prepare BOQs and pricing breakdowns
- Produce and review shop drawings, layouts, and set-outs
- Liaise with suppliers, builders, and project managers
- Ensure drawings and estimates align with site conditions and project scope
Requirements
- Proven experience as an estimator
- Background in architecture
- Excellent in excel
- Strong drafting skills (AutoCAD required; Revit a bonus)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving ability
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
