We are currently looking for a motivated and friendly Casual Dental Assistant to join our growing practice for 3 to 4 days per week.
The Role
In this position, you will work closely with our dental practitioners to ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations and top-tier patient comfort.Your core responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing, sterilising, and tracking clinical instruments
- Maintaining strict infection control and hygiene standards
- Setting up and breaking down surgery rooms efficiently
- Providing warm, reassuring support to patients throughout their visit
- Assisting with basic reception or administrative tasks when require
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is highly regarded (Certificate III in Dental Assisting is a plus)
- Strong understanding of infection control guidelines and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a gentle, empathetic chairside manner
- High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility to work 3–4 days per week
