Where the Digital Media Specialist role fits in
The Digital Media Specialist role forms part of the Consumer Marketing team, who are focused on driving marketing outcomes for the realestate.com.au, realcommercial.com.au and Mortgage Choice, brands. The Consumer Marketing team sits within the Audience & Marketing function, which forms part of the larger Consumer & Customer group.
Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, the Performance Media Specialist will be support in the implementation, optimisation and reporting of performance media channels across brand campaigns and always on digital activity.
The Performance Media Specialist will also be responsible in supporting the Performance Marketing Manager in developing and executing test and learn frameworks across digital channels to develop our positioning on emerging media products or opportunities within digital platforms.
What the role is all about:
Build, launch, manage and optimise paid media campaigns across multiple platforms and brands, including video, search, social, native content, and app-install/engagement activity to drive awareness and adoption of products, apps and services
Reporting on outcomes and performance of digital media channels that showcases meaningful insights that informs future execution and optimisations
Supporting the management of digital media budgets ensuring that investment and performance is tracking against forecast
Supporting the Performance Media Manager in developing and executing key brand campaigns across digital channels
Supporting the growth and development of the marketing graduate helping them to provide a rounded and proficient understanding of the digital marketing landscape and tools
Assist the Performance Media Manager in developing and executing testing frameworks to continuously test and optimise digital channels for incremental impact
Supporting internal stakeholder relationships, including Marketing Managers and Product Managers, in addition to external relationships with our media partners
Partnering with cross-functional teams within REA Group (e.g. analytics, product owners) to configure digital tracking and tag implementation
Collaborating with audience & analytics teams to identify and create advanced audience segments to drive efficiencies across digital media campaigns
Demonstrating an ability to keep up to date with the latest news, trends and products within the digital marketing landscape
What we’re looking for
3+ years’ performance marketing experience with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high performing digital campaigns optimising towards KPIs
Demonstrated hands-on campaign management experience across two or more of: paid search, paid social, native content, video and app-install/app-engagement advertising.
Experience with web and media analytics and measurement tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Looker Studio) and an understanding of attribution, conversion tracking and audience/1PD data concepts.
Experience managing media budgets and pacing across multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A genuine positive attitude, a growth mindset and a strong desire to get things done
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
