Lead student life programs that build belonging, participation and connection across a multi-campus university community.
The Opportunity
You will lead the Student Engagement function within WSUSU, setting the strategic direction for student life, campus activities and student-led initiatives across multiple campuses. You will ensure programs strengthen connection, wellbeing and belonging while reflecting the diversity of the student community.
You will manage and coach a multidisciplinary team, providing role clarity, performance development and a collaborative, student-centred culture. You will oversee the design, delivery and evaluation of events, clubs, societies and off-campus experiences that enhance student life and participation.
You will build strong partnerships with student leaders, university staff, community organisations and external providers. Using data and insights, you will report on engagement outcomes, manage risk and compliance, and continuously improve programs to demonstrate impact to senior stakeholders.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with postgraduate study desirable.

Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in a complex environment.

Substantial experience delivering student life, events or co-curricular programs.

Proven ability to manage large-scale activities, budgets and risk.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholders.
