Oasis is looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the day-to-day front-of-house service operations across one of Brisbane’s most unique entertainment venues.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, Bar Manager or successful hospitality leader who is ready to step up, take on greater responsibility and make a genuine impact.
About the Role
Working alongside the Venue Manager/Licensee, you will lead our bartenders, barbacks and bottle service teams, ensuring service is efficient, teams are performing at their best and every opportunity to improve the guest experience and drive revenue is maximised.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to take ownership of a broader operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of our bartending, barback and bottle service teams.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and team development.
- Develop rosters and manage labour in line with operational requirements and budgets.
- Drive bar and bottle service revenue through strong service execution and upselling.
- Maintain high service standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Oversee VIP and bottle service operations.
- Support stock management, inventory control and wastage reduction.
- Improve operational systems, processes and service efficiency.
- Coach, develop and performance manage team members.
- Work closely with the Venue Manager/Licensee to ensure operations are delivered safely and in line with venue requirements.
About You
You will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality operations, bar management or a similar leadership role.
- Experience in a high-volume hospitality, entertainment or events environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing service teams.
- A commercial mindset with a focus on revenue, productivity and cost control.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
