VENUE MANAGER — FRESHIE BREWING

Freshwater Brewery already has the locals, the trade, and the bones. We're renovating to match the ambition — and we need the right person leading the team when we come out the other side.
THE ROLE
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations across bar, floor, kitchen coordination, and team
- Help carry the venue through an active renovation — maintaining trade, culture, and standards
- Lead the team into the post-reno relaunch with real ownership of how it's positioned
- Drive revenue across food, beverage, functions, and community activations
- Work directly with ownership on menu direction, supplier relationships, and venue growth
- Own the numbers — labour, COGS, GP, and weekly reporting through our POS and Xero stack
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years running a busy food and beverage venue end-to-end
- Experience managing or trading through a renovation is a genuine advantage, however, not a must have
- A head for numbers and a feel for the floor — you do both without being told
- Genuine love for hospitality — the craft, the people, and the busy weekends
- Current RSA. liquor licensing experience a plus
- A non-negotiable standard for how a venue should look, feel, and operate

$90,000 – $110,000 base + super + performance bonus (based on experience)
