Located opposite the calm, sheltered waters of Emu Point, RAC Rose Gardens Holiday Park offers the ideal base for exploring the stunning Albany region.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Park Manager with strong park management experience to join our team on a full-time basis and contribute to providing our RAC members and guests with high-quality holiday park accommodation and services.
This is a live-in position with accommodation provided as part of the employment package, allowing the successful candidate to live and work on-site. While this is a single-person role, there may be employment opportunities available for a partner depending on business requirements and suitable vacancies.
This role would be ideal for a local candidate or someone looking to relocate from Perth or elsewhere in Western Australia.

What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will support the Park Manager in maintaining all operational aspects of RAC Rose Gardens Holiday Park, ensuring high standards of guest service, accommodation presentation, grounds maintenance and day-to-day park operations.
Your day-to-day impact
Manage and develop a team comprising Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff.

Lead and drive the delivery of memorable customer service experiences for members and guests.

Manage guest reservations and front office operations, including the use of RMS reservation systems.

Foster a safety-first culture across the property, ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Support financial management activities including budgeting, procurement, cost control, and revenue generation.
Manage and maintain park assets and facilities.

Assist with the management of after-hours operations, including participation in a shared on-call phone roster with the Park Manager.
What you'll bring to the team

Previous experience in a similar management role within a holiday park, tourism, hospitality or related industry.

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Experience using RMS reservation software or similar property management systems.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and other operational software systems.

Sound understanding of caravan park grounds, facilities, and maintenance requirements.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting caravan park operations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.

Current Driver's Licence, National Police Clearance, and up-to-date Senior First Aid Certificate.

Availability to work a five-day roster across a seven-day operation, including weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods.

Availability to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
