We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Support Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with LAN/WAN environments, network devices, and resolving connectivity issues while ensuring reliable and secure network operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet-related problems.
- Configure IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP settings.
- Perform hardware replacements, firmware upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Support network installations, moves, adds, and changes.
- Document network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Follow IT security policies and industry best practices.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers and end users.
Requirements
- Experience in network support, network administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching concepts.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, HPE, or similar networking equipment.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Pay: $5,000.00 – $6,000.00 per month
