About the Role
Z Protection Services is looking for experienced, licensed and reliable Crowd Controllers to join our casual events team across Ballarat, Ararat, Horsham and Regional Victoria.
We have ongoing event work available across a variety of venues, community events, functions and other event environments.
We are looking for Crowd Controllers who take pride in their work, communicate professionally with patrons and event organisers, and can confidently manage busy environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer service and conflict prevention.

Staff Safety & Operational Support
We take the safety of our team seriously.
Every event is assessed before deployment, with staffing levels and operational controls determined based on the size, environment and risk profile of the event.
Our team is supported through:
- Event-specific risk assessments
- Appropriate staffing levels
- Clear operational instructions
- Supervisor access
- 24/7 operational support
- Escalation procedures for incidents and emergencies
- Communication equipment and operational resources
We do not believe Crowd Controllers should be placed into high-risk environments without appropriate staffing, planning and support.
What We Require
Applicants must have:
- Current Victorian Security Licence with Crowd Controller endorsement
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current RSA
- Current Working With Children Check
- Previous crowd control or event security experience
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Reliable transport
- Availability for evening and weekend events
