About the Role
Sunrise Hardware and Garden Products is a well-established import/wholesale business, proudly operating since 1983. As a major distributor of hardware, building supplies and garden products. We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Truck Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a casual basis (approximately 5 days per week, with overtime in our busy seasons).
Key Duties
· Drive the company truck to customer locations across Adelaide and surrounding areas
· Load/unload truck safely
· Complete daily runs efficiently
· Assisting with preparing customer orders on site
· Assist in container unloads as required
· Maintain professionalism when interacting with customer’s onsite
· Maintain and keep the company truck presentable
This is a hands-on role involving regular loading and unloading our company truck. Your day will start typically between 7:00am -8:00am at our office/warehouse in Direk, SA, with delivery and collection runs across Adelaide and surrounding areas. After completing deliveries and collections, you will return to the warehouse to assist with end-of-day duties and wrap up.
For the right candidate, this role may progress into a permanent part-time position.
Pay: $35.00 – $36.00 per hour
