Experienced Jewellery Sales & Store Assistant
Part-time with opportunity for increased hours and a permanent role
We are looking for a passionate, down-to-earth person to join our team.
We are a well-established independent jewellery retailer with a loyal customer base and strong local community connections. Many of our customers have been shopping with us for years and are accustomed to a level of service that goes beyond simply making a sale. They know they'll be welcomed by someone who takes the time to listen, help them find the perfect piece, and bend over backwards to ensure they leave happy.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and understands the value of building long-term relationships. In a community like ours, trust, warmth and exceptional customer service are at the heart of everything we do.
About the role:
- Approximately 2 - 3 days per week initially while training
- Increased hours leading up to and throughout the busy Christmas period
- Permanent role from September onwards while I am on maternity leave
- A varied, hands-on position involving sales, customer service, visual merchandising and day-to-day store operations
What we're looking for:
- Previous jewellery industry experience highly regarded
- Proven retail sales experience, ideally in a boutique or independent retail environment
- An understanding of small business operations and the ability to confidently assist with the day-to-day running of the store
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile for customers
- Confidence assisting customers with jewellery selections for all ages, occasions and budgets
- An eye for visual merchandising and maintaining a beautiful store presentation
- Reliable, organised and capable of working independently once trained
- A friendly, down-to-earth personality and genuine enthusiasm for helping people

Pay: $26.00 – $45.57 per hour
