Assistant Manager position
Reporting to the Franchise Partner and managing a small customer service, barista and kitchen-based team you’ll be responsible for ensuring the store provides the highest level of customer service, product consistency and food safety, in addition to:
· Reviewing sales and COGs to ensure growth and profitability
· Maintaining stock levels
· Assisting with recruitment and training needs
· Creating rosters and approving timesheets
· Executing marketing initiatives, identifying new opportunities where possible
- Leading a small team to give our Soul Origin customers an excellent experience.
· Responding to customer enquiries as required
· Mentoring up-and-coming team members, to ensure the successful operation of the store at all times
What You Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will possess the following:
· A minimum of 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE as a Fast Food, Café or assistant manager
· Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
· Proven ability to confidently lead a small team
· Ability to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, public holidays and late-night trade
· A current Food Safety Certificate, knowledge of specialty coffee will be advantageous
