CF Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Sydney operations. The successful candidate will support the delivery of complex civil construction projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution from planning through to completion.
This role requires strong technical capability, excellent coordination skills and experience in delivering infrastructure or civil construction projects in Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects in accordance with scope, time, and budget requirements
- Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling and cost control
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design, safety and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and assist with quality assurance and defect management
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure effective communication
- Support risk management, problem solving, and resolution of technical issues
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Experience as a Project Engineer in civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
- Strong technical knowledge of civil works methodologies
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g. MS Project or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
