We’re on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand / Sandwich Hand to join the team at Meister, our busy weekday café in Docklands. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, keeping busy, and being part of a friendly and efficient kitchen team.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to approx. 1:30–2:00 pm
(No weekends or nights!)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and simple baked goods for display
- Assisting our chef with breakfast and lunch display food prep
- Cleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchen
- Washing dishes and supporting daily kitchen operations
- Helping pack down the kitchen at the end of service
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous kitchen hand or sandwich prep experience
- Is fast, organised, and works well under pressure
- Can follow food safety standards and instructions carefully
- Is happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed
- Is available to start immediately
