Annandale Christian College is seeking a passionate and committed Secondary Science Teacher to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity commencing in 2027.

About the Role
The successful applicant will be an engaging and knowledgeable Science educator with the ability to teach Senior Sciences (Years 11 and 12). The capacity to teach an additional teaching area/s will be highly regarded.
You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs, foster student engagement and achievement, and actively contribute to the Christian life of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Science programs across Secondary year levels, including Senior Sciences.
- Prepare students for success in external assessment and post-school pathways.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into teaching and learning.
- Differentiate teaching to meet diverse student needs.
- Foster positive student wellbeing, behaviour and engagement.
- Assess, monitor and report on student achievement and progress.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the College.
- Uphold child safety, professional standards and College policies.
About You
You will be:
- A committed Christian who supports the mission, vision and values of Annandale Christian College (pastoral reference required).
Passionate about Christian education and student growth.
- An enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner.
- Experienced or capable in teaching Senior Sciences (ideally Chemistry and/or Physics).
- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Committed to professional growth and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrated ability to teach Senior Sciences.
- Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card (Paid or Exemption), or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Ability to actively support the College's Christian ethos and fully align with the College’s Statement of Christian Beliefs.
