Your Role
Digit IT is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our key service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, IT Security, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.
This is an intermediate role, suited to someone who has experience providing Level 1 – Level 2 Support within an MSP environment. Strong customer service and IT support skills are a must!
Your Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote Level 1 – Level 2 technical support to our clients
Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices
Log and resolve tickets in our management system
Create and maintain client documentation
Onsite client visits for IT support, installations and IT projects
Your Skills and Experience
Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills
Experience in a Systems Engineer role
Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach
Strong knowledge of Windows servers
Experience with Office 365 and Azure
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare)
Knowledge or networks (LAN, WAN, VPN and VLAN)
Backup and recovery (Datto, VEEAM, Acronis & StorageCraft)
VOIP Telephony, 3CX systems
Attention to detail and clear, accurate and concise documentation
A valid driver’s license
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
