Salary: Academic Level A $97,153 – $117,376 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Coordinate and teach units while building outreach and partnerships in Nursing and Midwifery.
The Opportunity
You will coordinate and teach units across the School of Nursing and Midwifery, delivering high-quality learning experiences that support student progression in undergraduate and graduate diploma programs. You will prepare contemporary learning materials, assess student performance, and provide timely, constructive feedback that improves learning outcomes.
You will contribute to program and curriculum development in your discipline, working closely with academic colleagues and professional staff to maintain quality and relevance. You will engage with students through School and University activities, and participate in meetings and outreach events that strengthen student engagement.
You will build your scholarly, research, and professional profile in line with School or Institute priorities. This includes planning and progressing research or scholarship through to outputs, contributing to publications, supporting funding applications, and collaborating with internal and external partners to strengthen discipline connections.

Play an active role in shaping and evolving the discipline through program and curriculum development

Deliver engaging undergraduate teaching, with meaningful assessment and timely, constructive feedback

Build your research or scholarship profile through publications and collaborative projects

Contribute to the School community through student engagement, outreach, and participation in key activities.
About You
-
You hold an Honours Degree or are progressing towards a higher qualification in Nursing or a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and professional experience
You hold current professional registration, or are eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia, with a relevant governing body (e.g. AHPRA). -
You have demonstrated experience delivering engaging, high-quality tertiary teaching using contemporary approaches

You bring experience in designing and delivering outreach across diverse education settings

You bring a strong ability to build relationships with community and industry partners

You have demonstrated research activity, or the capacity to progress work through to publications and outputs

You have experience, or the potential, to supervise honours or higher degree research students

You bring the ability to collaborate effectively, including contributing to cross-disciplinary research proposals.
Working with Children Check:
It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
