SALE REPRESENTATIVE - BDS MECHANICAL REPAIRS AUS
We are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development professional to join our team in a full-time capacity, servicing the Bowen Basin/Central Queensland all the way up to Cairns. This role is responsible for identifying and growing new business opportunities within the automotive, heavy transport, and mining industries and requires regular travel across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across workshop services, labour hire and field service operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across a diverse range of industries, including mining, transport, and heavy vehicle operations.
- Utilise technical expertise to assess and interpret customer requirements, providing tailored solutions both in person and over the phone.
- Proactively manage customer accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and driving business growth.
- Reporting to the Business Development Manager
- Support the execution of the company's strategic growth objectives by identifying market opportunities and influencing business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the truck, trailer, automotive, or mining industry.
- Proven experience in a business development, sales, account management, or similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers at all levels.
- Exceptional customer service and sales capabilities, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including extended periods away from home when required to support customer sites, including remote mining operations.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
