Architectural Metalwork | Workshop & Site-Based Role

The Fabrication Company is seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Site Installer / Factory Labourer to join our team.
This is a hybrid, hands-on role involving both site installation work and general factory/workshop duties. It would suit someone who enjoys variety, working with their hands and being part of a team that manufactures and installs quality architectural metalwork.
Our projects span the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, with our work including balustrades, handrails, stairs, gates, fencing, screening, facades, pergolas and other custom architectural metalwork.
About the Role
Working alongside our experienced fabricators and site installers, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the installation of architectural metalwork on construction sites
- Assisting with installation of balustrades, handrails, screens, gates, fencing, stairs and other fabricated metalwork
- Loading and unloading materials, tools and fabricated items
- Preparing materials and equipment for site installation
- Using hand and power tools
- Drilling, grinding, cutting and general metalwork preparation
- Assisting tradespeople and installers as required
- General factory and workshop labouring
- Packing and preparing completed products for transport and installation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop and work area
- Following site and workplace WHS requirements
- Other general duties required to support our fabrication and installation teams
The role will involve a combination of working from our Loganholme factory and travelling to project sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
About You

- Is willing to undertake a variety of duties rather than being limited to one particular task
Previous experience in metal fabrication, construction, installation, manufacturing or factory work would be highly regarded, however we are also open to someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn.
Requirements
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Ability to perform physical/manual work
- Ability to reliably travel to our Loganholme factory
- Full Australian working rights
A forklift licence, EWP ticket, Working at Heights ticket and previous experience using hand/power tools would be advantageous but are not essential.
