Allegiance Heart & Home Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking female Community Support Worker to provide regular in-home support to an older female client living in Prospect.
This is an ongoing role suitable for a support worker who values consistency, dignity, cultural understanding and person-centred care. The client requires assistance with personal care, daily routines, emotional wellbeing and light domestic tasks.
Due to the personal-care requirements and the client’s cultural and communication preferences, a female worker who speaks Greek fluently is required.
- Monday: 8:00 am–11:00 am
- Tuesday: 8:00 am–10:00 am
- Wednesday: 8:00 am–10:00 am
- Thursday: 8:00 am–10:00 am
- Friday: 8:00 am–10:00 am
Applicants must be able to commit reliably to the regular morning schedule. Preference will be given to candidates who live in Prospect or nearby suburbs and can provide consistent ongoing support.
The successful applicant will support the client with:

Showering, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Continence care and toileting assistance
- Safe mobility, transfers and falls-prevention support
- Assistance with morning routines and activities of daily living
- Social engagement, companionship and emotional reassurance
- Culturally appropriate communication in Greek
- Light domestic assistance, including tidying, laundry and cleaning
- Meal preparation and assistance as required
- Encouraging independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
- Observing and reporting changes in the client’s health, mobility, behaviour or care needs
- Completing accurate progress notes and incident reports
- Following the client’s care plan, risk-management strategies and organisational policies
The client is an older Greek-speaking woman who requires regular assistance due to cognitive decline, reduced mobility and an increased risk of falls.
The role requires patience, empathy and experience supporting older people with complex care needs. Previous experience supporting clients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, continence needs or mobility limitations will be highly regarded.

Fluency in Greek and English
- Experience providing personal care to older people
- A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or a related qualification
- A current National Police Check
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Australian working rights
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- A reliable mobile phone
- The ability to complete digital progress notes and workplace documentation
- Strong communication, observation and reporting skills
- Availability for the scheduled weekday morning shifts
