About the Role:
We are offering a hands-on internship for a motivated Accounting Intern looking to gain practical experience in tax and business services accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in real-world accounting tasks and learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Accountant/Manager in preparing Tax Workpapers, Bookkeeping and Payroll processing
- Support the preparation of financial reports, various statements, updating asset registers for clients
- Communicating with clients and answering client queries, accounts receivable etc.
- Communicating with ATO and other government agencies on various matters
- Other office administrative duties.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
