Year 11 Chemistry Exam Preparation Tutor (Immediate Start)
Success Tutoring Epping is seeking an exceptional Chemistry tutor to take ownership of a Year 11 student's Preliminary Exam preparation over the next 7–8 weeks.
We are looking for a tutor who not only has a strong understanding of the NSW Year 11 Chemistry syllabus but also leverages AI-powered learning tools to create a highly personalised and adaptive learning experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and teaching all Year 11 Chemistry modules.
- Identifying knowledge gaps and prioritising high-impact areas.
- Creating and driving a structured week-by-week revision program.
- Delivering an intensive crash-course style revision program.
- Accelerating revision during the final 4 weeks leading into exams.
- Working through past papers and exam-style questions.
- Teaching exam technique, time management and response structure.
- Ensuring the student is fully prepared and confident for Preliminary Exams.
What We're Looking For
The ideal tutor will:
- Have strong knowledge of the NSW Year 11 Chemistry syllabus and assessment requirements.
- Possess their own comprehensive notes, resources and revision materials.
- Use AI platforms and modern learning technologies to enhance student outcomes.
- Create dynamic practice questions tailored to the student's strengths and weaknesses.
- Generate questions at varying levels of difficulty and adjust them in real time during lessons.
- Challenge students with alternative question styles and exam scenarios.
- Use data, assessment results and student performance to guide revision priorities.
- Keep students actively engaged through continuous testing, retrieval practice and spaced revision techniques.
- Be confident leading a complete exam preparation program independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching senior Chemistry students.
- High ATAR and/or university studies in Chemistry, Science, Medicine, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience using AI-assisted learning tools, adaptive questioning systems and digital revision platforms.
