Marlin Coast Swimming & Fitness is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Customer Services Officer to join our team full time - Monday to Friday.

As the welcoming face of our facility, you'll play a key role in creating positive experiences for every patron who walks through our doors. From serving customers in our kiosk and café to assisting with memberships, bookings and enquiries, you'll help create a safe, friendly and vibrant community environment.
About the Role
This is a diverse customer service role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional front-of-house service while supporting the daily operations of our aquatic and recreation facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to patrons and visitors
- Processing kiosk, café and merchandise sales using our POS system
- Assisting with memberships, program enrolments and bookings
- Promoting memberships, swimming lessons, fitness programs and current promotions
- Preparing and serving food and beverages
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
- Maintaining stock levels and merchandising displays
- Ensuring the kiosk and reception areas remain clean, organised and welcoming
- Responding professionally to customer enquiries and resolving issues where appropriate
- Supporting a safe workplace by following all Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider facility team
About You
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or reception
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using computers and learning new systems
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems (preferred)
- The ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A flexible approach to working mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A team-first attitude and willingness to learn
Essential Requirements
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Food Handler Certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
Desirable
- Previous hospitality, café or retail experience
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
