About the role
This position is responsible for delivering high quality day to day customer experience services, plans and programs, and using every customer interaction as an opportunity to build positive connections with the City of Parramatta.
In this role you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by applying PHIVE customer service competencies and creating positive, memorable interactions.
- Efficiently manage customer enquiries and transactions across online and face-to-face channels.
- Educate and support customers to use online services, promoting digital channel adoption.
- Provide accurate information and handle payments securely in line with Council policies and procedures.
Resolve complaints professionally and follow processes, contributing to safe, compliant, and effective service deliver

We are offering a 21 hour (3 days) part-time term contract, up to January 2027, with a competitive remuneration package from $81,327.89 (pro-rata) + 12% superannuation.
The candidate must be open to working weekends when required.

About you
The successful candidate is someone who has:
- Operational, community or retail customer service experience, with a proven track record of achieving objectives.
- Experience in processing a variety of payments.
- Demonstrable understanding of the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to the designated area and the ability to practically apply this knowledge.
Computer literacy through accurate data entry, recording of information and experience with a variety of software applications.
