RRETS Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced NBN Complex Works Technicians to support a growing pipeline of telecommunications infrastructure projects across Queensland.

About the Role
As an NBN Complex Works Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a range of telecommunications construction, maintenance and network upgrade activities.
Your duties may include:
- Fibre cable hauling, installation and remediation
- Fibre splicing, jointing and OTDR testing
- NBN pit and pipe construction and remediation
- Network fault finding, restoration and commissioning
- Pole-based telecommunications works
- Operating bucket trucks (EWP), VAC trucks, excavators, skid steers and other construction plant
- Working safely on or near utility infrastructure
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and work instructions
- Completing quality assurance records and project documentation
- Manual labour associated with telecommunications construction and maintenance works
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in NBN Complex Works or telecommunications infrastructure
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Current Construction White Card
- Hold all relevant licences, competencies, tickets, accreditations and certifications required to undertake NBN Complex Works
- Appropriate Australian working rights
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour in outdoor environments
- Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work throughout regional and remote Queensland
Highly Desirable
- Fibre Splicing accreditation and OTDR testing experience
- NBN Pit & Pipe accreditation
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Bucket Truck (EWP) operating experience
- Vacuum Excavation (VAC Truck) experience
- Excavator, Skid Steer and other plant operator tickets
- Traffic Management qualifications
- First Aid & CPR
- MR, HR or HC Driver Licence
- Experience working on or near power poles and utility infrastructure

Pay: $65,000.00 – $112,159.31 per year
