- Ownership of programme, delivery performance and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with site leadership, subcontractors and senior management
Lead the Delivery. Own the Outcome.
IMPartners is recruiting on behalf of Total Project Australia for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a significant construction project in Yulara, Northern Territory.
This is not a coordination role sitting on the sidelines. You will take ownership of programme performance, project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder management while working closely with site leadership and senior management.
We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner, communicates early when issues arise and takes responsibility for outcomes. Someone who understands that successful projects are built through planning, follow-through and disciplined execution.
About the Role
Based in Yulara on a 12-month contract, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering a high-profile construction project.
You will work closely with Site Supervisors, Leading Hands, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme commitments. You will be responsible for identifying risks early, maintaining project momentum and supporting strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires a practical Project Manager who is comfortable operating in regional and remote construction environments and capable of balancing site delivery with commercial accountability.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of project activities
- Manage programme performance and identify risks before they impact delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
- Monitor project budgets, costs and margin performance
- Contribute to variations, commercial discussions and project reporting
- Build strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders
- Provide clear direction and support to site leadership teams
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality and company systems
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes
We are looking for a Project Manager who:
- Takes ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing tasks
- Communicates clearly and early when issues arise
- Understands the commercial drivers behind project performance
- Makes sound decisions under pressure
- Builds trust with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Follows through on commitments and delivers what they promise
- Brings structure and clarity to complex project environments
- Takes accountability when things go wrong and acts quickly to correct course
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects
- Experience working in regional or remote project environments
- Strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and project delivery
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs and protect margin
- Strong communication skills across both site and office environments
- Track record of reliability, accountability and delivery performance
Apply
This opportunity will suit a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, leading from the front and delivering projects through practical leadership rather than process alone.
If you have a proven track record of project delivery, commercial awareness and building strong site relationships, we encourage you to apply with your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
