Your New Role
As we continue to deliver on our 2030 strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Group Strategy & Planning to play a central role in shaping the Fund’s strategic direction and ensuring it translates into tangible outcomes.
This is a high-impact, enterprise facing role where you’ll sit at the heart of strategy development, strategic planning and executive decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end annual strategic planning cycle, connecting strategy to execution across the Fund
- Translate strategic objectives into clear enterprise priorities, initiatives and funding decisions
- Drive value-based prioritisation and trade-offs, ensuring resources are aligned to what matters most
- Provide visibility of strategic progress, roadmaps and delivery performance to senior leaders
- Partner with the business to develop and shape strategy, including growth opportunities and new propositions
- Conduct market, competitor and industry analysis to inform strategic direction and decision-making
- Deliver high-quality insights, reports and presentations for Executive and Board audiences
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders and test strategic direction
- Provide clear, fact-based recommendations to support prioritisation and enterprise decision-making
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enable whole-of-fund thinking and strategic alignment
How do you exceed our expectations?
You’re a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can translate complex problems into clear, actionable plans.
You'll bring:
- Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy
- Proven delivery of enterprise strategic planning cycles
- Strong problem-solving capability with a structured, analytical approach
- Ability to connect strategy to execution (OKRs, KPIs, planning frameworks)
- Experience preparing and presenting Executive and Board-level materials
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Confidence facilitating workshops and aligning senior leaders
- Experience in superannuation or financial services is beneficial, but not essential
