Retail Site Coordinator & Candy Maker
Employment Type: Part-Time (4 days/week) Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (specific days to be confirmed)
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, reliable individual to join our team in a hybrid role combining retail site coordination with hands-on candy making. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. One moment coordinating day-to-day store operations, the next crafting our candy products from scratch. No candy-making experience is required, full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Retail & Site Coordination
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail site, ensuring it runs smoothly and presents well to customers
- Serving customers
- Packaging products for retail, weddings, and corporate promotions
- Coordinate opening/closing procedures, stock levels, and store presentation
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and support point-of-sale operations
- Delivery coordination, and managing incoming stock
- Support scheduling, basic inventory tracking, and site upkeep
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety and food handling standards
Candy Making & Product Packaging
- Learn and carry out candy-making processes under guidance (full training provided — no prior experience necessary)
- Package finished products accurately and attractively, in line with branding and food safety requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the candy-making and packaging areas
- Assist with quality control, checking products meet consistency and presentation standards
About You
- You enjoy working in a customer-facing role with a small team
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Previous product packaging experience preferred
- No candy-making experience necessary — we'll train you
- Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable switching between customer-facing and behind-the-scenes tasks
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for packaging and presentation
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude
- Able to work flexibly across a 25–35 hour week (including some weekends/peak periods, if applicable)
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting
What We Offer

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
