About the role
The Production Supervisor role is a Full-Time position, based at Brendale, QLD. Reporting to Manufacturing Manager, you will provide people and process leadership to the production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised.
In this role, you will:
- Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
- Supervise the production team on a rotating shift roster (Day -6am-6pm, Night 6pm-6am) 24/hr x 7 days a week operation.
- Operating machinery and ensuring our products meet the quality standards.
- Ensure adherence with all Site Safety requirements, including PSIs, incident reporting / investigations and completing all corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other areas including Process improvement and Engineering.
- Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required.
What you bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in a production or process role in a similar industry.
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing or similar methodologies - advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- A strong commitment to safety awareness
- Qualifications in a technical, engineering, or relevant field - advantageous
- Willingness to work a rotating roster
- Able to build strong relationships by effectively engage with and listening to others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to diagnose and resolve immediate on-site production issues whilst ensuring minimal disruption.
