Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current electrical licence (if applying for electrical position)
- 5 years post apprenticeship trade experience (preferred but not essential)
- Australian drivers licence
- Arctick licence
- Construction white card
- BMS controls experience an advantage
Tasks & responsibilities
- Perform service and maintenance on all aspects of commercial HVAC&R systems, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC&R equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, and refrigeration systems.
- Participate in the weekly on-call roster, providing reliable after-hours support to clients.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain system longevity and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on WHS (Work Health and Safety), following all safety protocols and promoting a safe workplace.
- Work with BMS controls to optimize system performance (experience in this area is a bonus).
