Mercedes-Benz Toowong is part of Australia's largest prestige and luxury automotive retail group employing approximately 3000 people across 100 businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The dealership is recruiting for an apprentice who is motivated and has the desire to become a highly skilled motor technician(s) with one of the world's most iconic prestige car brands - Mercedes-Benz! The role will be based in Toowong and will suit someone that wants to develop an elite level of technical skills, gain exposure to customer service and basic administrative responsibilities whilst being part of a high-performing team.
If you become an apprentice you will;
- Gain a nationally recognised automotive qualification.
- Receive comprehensive on-the-job training with modern equipment
- Have access to Individual and team incentive programs (as appropriate)
In this role:
- You will gain knowledge on basic vehicle diagnostics and guided fault finding with the appropriate diagnostics tools.
- You will work alongside a dedicated mentor who will support you throughout your qualification.
- You will perform standard maintenance, testing and adjustment work.
- You will assist other team members in completing repairs, ordering parts, or supporting customers as necessary.
- You will assist with cleaning and maintaining workshop tools and equipment
- You will develop the necessary skills and competencies whilst completing studies to obtain recognition as a trade’s person and be acknowledged as a certified technician.
