About the role
*This is an ongoing Part Time role*
The Ministerial Events Advisor supports the planning and delivery of Ministerial events and engagements, ensuring briefings, speeches, presentations and other materials are accurate, concise and delivered on time. Working across DTP, the role gathers, analyses and prepares information, collaborating closely with executive officers and maintaining strong relationships with Ministerial Offices and key stakeholders.
The role requires strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. It also ensures operational reliability through high-quality content, effective workflows, accurate record keeping and coordination across government, industry and departmental stakeholders.

Communicates clearly and confidently, preparing concise, accurate and audience-focused information, briefings and presentations.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, including occasional after-hours, weekend, public holiday and on-call commitments to support Ministerial events and media activities.
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
Recipients of Victorian Public Service (VPS) voluntary departure packages should note that re-employment restrictions apply.
