The Role
Are you contemplating your next move in the world of video content creation as a Video Producer? Our award-winning team would love to meet you. Do you have experience overseeing the creation of video content, and managing the end-to-end process to produce video that connects?
History Will Be Kind, part of the Deepend Group, operates at the crossroads of brand, PR, social media and digital communications. We are looking for a passionate, competent video producer to join our team to deliver video content to our clients. Based in Sydney, individuals will work as a key member of the History Will Be Kind team,
This role will focus on managing the end-to-end production of video content including concept development, script writing, budgeting, building required teams, pre-production, running shoots, post-production and all things required to output a final video.
To be successful you will first and foremost be a thinker. This will include thinking creatively, pro-actively and analytically to help create and implement high impact, content driven, innovative videos that harness the power of storytelling, across platforms and devices.
You will also be a strong contributor, working closely with a diverse range of clients, directors, editors, production staff, and strategists to develop amazing groundbreaking engaging video.
We’re looking for new members of the integrated Group team; eclectic characters to contribute to our warm and sometimes, let’s face it, completely mad family.
Clients we are making history with include Etihad Airways, Uber, Webjet ANZ, Hilton Hotels, McGrath Foundation and Little Moons.
Who are you?
· You have an innate understanding of planning and coordinating video production processes
· You have a drive to create and develop video concepts that push the boundaries and generate stand out results
· A track record of collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
· You have experience in directing and overseeing shooting procedures along with hiring crew and managing schedules and budgets.
· An intimate understanding of editing, audio and sound engineering, styling, graphics, script writing and producing narrative treatments into final products
· Effective communication skills
· You are a self-starter, pro-active about finding solutions
· You are naturally curious, highly adaptable and a critical thinker
· You are educated in a relevant discipline
· 5 plus years of experience in video production and related disciplines
Salary packages will range from $80,000 to $110,000 p.a, based on your level and experience. Flexible working arrangements are available. Salary packages include superannuation and will be prorated to reflect engagements of less than 5 days per week.
