Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food and beverage preparation, excellent communication skills, and a flair for creating welcoming environments. Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is highly desirable, along with supervisory or team management experience for those aspiring to leadership roles. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently
- Manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment
- Operate coffee machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold the brand’s hospitality standards by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
- Creating roster
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments, customer service is preferred
- Experience working as a barista or in a similar role within cafes, restaurants, or hotels is highly advantageous
- Supervising or team management experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes is desirable
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary techniques enhances suitability for this role
