We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Fraud Lead to join our team, located in Marrickville.
About the role:
- To establish a permanent and dedicated Fraud function for Pallion Group.
- Improve capability within Compliance, to identify, manage, and mitigate the full extend of fraud risk faced by the Group
- The Fraud Lead is responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating fraud risks across the organisation.
- This role leverages data analysis, intelligence gathering, and investigative techniques to detect emerging fraud trends, support fraud prevention strategies, and enhance overall risk management
About you:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience in fraud detection, intelligence analysis, or financial crime
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, or similar) preferred
- Knowledge of fraud typologies (e.g., identity theft, account takeover, payment fraud)
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., AML/CTF frameworks)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience drafting Grounds for Suspicion (GFS) and lodging Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) in AUSTRAC Online
- Experience in the precious metals industry preferred
